marmotThe Mt. Whitney Adventure is a five day hike through the Sequoia National Park reaching the summit of Mt. Whitney from the west. The adventure begins just outside Lone Pine, CA entering the park through Cottonwood Pass. This world class hike offers stunning views of high alpine lakes, lush meadows, and multiple 14,000 foot peaks. We will make our summit bid on day three from Guitar Lake, and with a shortened ascent, be back at base camp for a well deserved celebration. The Mt. Whitney climb is fully supported with mules to carry all of our group gear and enable us to only carry our water, snacks and an extra layer of clothing.

The Mt. Whitney climb is a challenging undertaking but a rewarding experience with a group of like-minded individuals. Mt. Whitney is the highest peak in the contiguous United States towering 14,505 ft. above sea level. Our route offers true acclimating by climbing high and sleeping low to adjust to the altitude. This climb requires physical training and included in your climb is a detailed training program to help you prepare for your journey through the Sierra Nevada’s.
